Fireworks Night is run entirely by volunteers, and every penny of profit goes straight back into the village. Here's where the money goes.
The village school & pre-school
Our primary school and pre-school sit at the heart of village life. Money raised on Fireworks Night helps fund the extras that make a real difference to the children — equipment, trips and experiences that school budgets alone can't stretch to.
Brownies & Rainbows
The village Brownies and Rainbows give younger members of our community a place to make friends, learn new skills and have adventures. Proceeds from the night help keep their activities, badges and outings going all year round.
Wittenham Warriors
The Wittenham Warriors are the volunteer team behind so much of what happens in the village — including this very event. Funds help them keep doing what they do best: getting things done for Long Wittenham.
…and the wider village
